Tucked away in the industrial hum of Fyshwick, this café offers a relaxed spot to enjoy a meal or a quick coffee break. The vibe is unpretentious with a touch of industrial chic, making it a comfortable choice whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeaway. Outdoor seating is available too, which suits those who prefer a little fresh air with their coffee.
Breakfast and brunch draw most visitors here, with generous servings that lean on fresh, straightforward ingredients. You’ll find options like a hearty breakfast wrap, a bacon, egg and cheese burger, and lighter choices such as the Good Morning Bowl. Coffee tends toward the milder side, with some variations like a lactose-free latte on offer, though it’s the food that often leaves a stronger impression. The pesto spread on some dishes might get a bit soggy on the bread, so those subtle details are worth noting if you like your textures just so.
The clientele is a mix of local workers, Tradies, and regulars who enjoy the welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where the staff know your name and there’s often a camaraderie among diners. Whether you’re stopping in for a longer breakfast after a morning meeting or picking up lunch on a busy day, it caters well to people looking for honest, good-quality café fare without fuss or pretense.

5 So many flavours and fresh ingredients! Absolutely delicious however the pesto spread did make the bread a little soggy so would prefer it drizzled on top next time but would still order this over and over
4 Was here this afternoon! my first café eat in since the lockdown, we had the big brekkie, the Pellegrino Pasta, chips and coffees. the coffee is a bit weak but not the worst i’ve had. The food was great though it did take a little longer to get but definitely worth the wait! The pasta was perfect and the chips were crisp and well salted! Would recommend if you’re in the area
5 When it comes to cafés in Fyshwick, Pellegrino’s is hands down the best. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and it’s become my go-to spot. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and they really make you feel at home. The coffee is consistently excellent, the food is fresh and high quality, and there’s a great atmosphere whether you’re popping in for a quick takeaway or sitting down for a meal. Pellegrino’s has never let me down — it’s a place that truly stands out in Canberra.
5 Oh my goodness, what a rare treat. Alas, I didn't take photos, so you will need to trust me on this. Breakfast here is delicious, and servings are generous. My coffee was not burnt and served hot. The staff are gorgeous and will look after you. If you are Fyshwick for business, drop in here and Tradies, it is your go to place for sure !
4 A cosy island of calm and coffee in Fyshwick that serves a tasty toasty breakfast with generous servings. The bacon and egg burger was great and filled me up. Coffee was ok and plenty hot though it was only of moderate quality. It's an industrial chic cafe in an industrial zone, perfectly suited for a good feed and a quick cuppa.
5 Beautiful food, Beautiful people. Pork ragu pasta was absolutely amazing! It’s honestly the best one I’ve ever had. The pasta was perfectly al dente and cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic too — everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Even when I finished my meal, the staff were attentive and smiling. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
